Daf Yomi - Rev Michael Plaskow gives the Daf Yomi Shiur after shacharit each morning.

Weekly Ivrit Parsha Discussion Group - in Hebrew, meets on Tuesday mornings at 11:00 in the Bortz study room.

Ladies Shiur - Rabbi Boudilovsky's Shiur for ladies takes place in the Bet Midrash on Wednesday's at 11:30.

New Talmud Shiur - There is a new Talmud shiur which began on 7th December presented by Rabbi David Woolf. It take's place on Thursday evenings at 8pm in the Bortz room upstairs. The shiur provides background on Talmudic concepts relating to customs and halachot of grieving and mourning. Please click here for more details.

New Chaburah (Study Group) - The initial meeting of the group to review and discuss some of Rabbi Boudilovsky’s Divrei Torah in detail will be held on Tuesday December 26th at 8pm in the Bortz Study Room. YINN Ulpan - The Young Israel Ulpan class has restarted. There are two groups meeting on Tuesday mornings in the Bet Midrash. Tarbut Series - The next Tarbut event will be a Chanuka party on Sunday 17th December at 8pm in the George Goddard Hall when “Take Five” a talented band of musicians will present an evening of musical favourites. There will be lighting of Chanuka lights and sufganiyot. Entrance is free.

Children’s Chanuka Party - There will be a Children’s Chanuka Party on 18th December starting at 5pm after maariv, with candle-lighting, music, sufganiyot, face painting and exciting balloon entertainment. Please bring your children and grandchildren. Click here for more details.

Chazanut Appreciation Group - The next meeting of the Chazanut Appreciation Group will be held on Tuesday, December 19th at 8pm in the Shul comprising of pieces related to Chanuka and taken from Hallel.

Laniado Toys For Chanuka - Donations should be sent to the Shul office, payable to YINN with a note indicating that the donation is for Laniado Toys for Chanuka.

Henry Koor Library Lecture - There will be a lecture at McDonald's Shul in the social hall on Wednesday, 20th December, presented by Michael Ordman. The title is Positively Israel. Michael will outline the content of his newsletter and websites and explain how this positive information can help change the media’s distorted perception of Israel. Please click here for details.

Carlebach Minyan - Next Friday night, 22nd December, Parashat Vayigash, there will be a Carlebach minyan in the George Goddard hall. All are invited. Rav Kalman Ber Shlita, the Chief Rabbi of Netanya is expected to attend and will speak in Ivrit before Maariv.

Tarbut Series - The Tarbut Committee proudly presents Paulette Woolf, former Deputy Director of the Management, Evaluation and Consulting Division of the Office of Internal Oversight Services at the United Nations who will give the next lecture on Wednesday, December 27th at 8.00 pm in the George Goddard Hall of our Shul entitled: “Beyond Politics – An Insider’s View of the UN”.
